Raymarine Autohelm ST4000 MK1 Autopilot Wheel Drive*

I acquired this used but working wheel drive and decided to re-condition it rather than let it clutter up the shop.*

I opened it up and -*

Cleaned & painted*
lubed (only where recommended)*
replaced the drive belt with new,*
replaced the main drive motor sprocket*
Dissassembled and inspected the motor and main gearbox (to confirm the 22 planet gears were good)*
Tested drive motor (strong motor)*

ZERO CORROSION on motor or gears*

This would make an excellent spare or a direct replacement unit.*
