Paper Nautical Charts of the US West Coast
I have a gazillion old to '86 nautical charts of the west coast to panama. Most are great condition. I just stuffed 52 of them into a priority mail flat rate USPS box and I believe that costs $18.85 to any valid US zip code. This is my lifelong collection and I love them but its time to let go. I will sell them for $150 for any 43 charts with free USPS shipping or for $3 each plus whatever it costs to send them to your zip USPS priority flat rate.
You must provide the chart number that you wish to have. I do not have any more Hawaiian Island charts but have a bunch of other west coast and south pacific stuff. Send some chart numbers if you are interested.
Kindest regards,
John

Re: Paper Nautical Charts of the US West Coast
Any chance that you have the old series of charts 21605 through 21610, Bay of Panama and the five chart set of Islas Perlas? If you do, I'd love to but them.

It's very possible but it'll take me a little while to check. Are there chart numbers for the five charts for Islas Perlas? My cataloging goes by chart numbers. I do know that I don't have any organized sets in a specific binder.

Thanks for the quick answer. This was a series of charts: 21605, 21606, 21607, 21608, 21609, 21610.
Thanks

Hello SkiprJohn
I am looking for charts of Portland and north to Alaska. Do you have any of those?

I'm also looking for US from San Francisco to 49N and then Alaska charts. I'll look up the numbers right now.

Re: Paper Nautical Charts of the US West Coast
Why use old charts that are out of date and could have wrong depth data, when you can download them totally free from NOAA?

How do you print a free downloaded chart so its big enough that it can lay on your chart table and effectively be used for navigating?

I think most the charts you are looking for are in the 18400 series and I have 52 charts in that series.

I'm very old school. I like an old chart with colors and symbols I understand and that I don't mind smudging with elbows on a chart table a bit or leaving a coffee ring on. The ones I have are in great condition without smudges and could be a backup for the newest latest and greatest GPS.
kind regards,

My cataloging indicates I have just one of those that you mentioned and that is 21605. I've got more numbers near that if you have others you're looking for.

I'm looking at 18524 just now and it is the Columbia River from Portland/Vancouver to St. Helens. I set it aside because I was thinking of canoeing the Multnomah Channel.
kind regards,

Re: Paper Nautical Charts of the US West Coast
Thanks for looking. 21605 is still in print. The others haven't been current since 1976. I was just hoping you had them.
