Origo 3000 Free Standing Double-burner Alcohol Stove

Listed on eBay; item #:130189787243

Origo 3000 free standing double-burner, non-pressurized alcohol stove. Good condition. This stove retailed in the Defender catalog in 2006 for $312.99. The Origo 3000 can also be dropped into a cut-out as shown in one of the photos here. (This is how I installed the stove in my Pearson Triton.) I purchased this stove about six years ago and have used it approximately six times a year since. (I went through just a little under one gallon of stove fuel.) Although I've read that alcohol doesn't burn as hot as other stove fuels, I never had any problem quickly heating stew, boiling water, or frying eggs. There are some burnished areas on the top, but it still looks pretty good. I really like this stove, especially because you don't have to pressurize a tank and there's no priming involved. The only reason I'm selling it is because I'm reconfiguring my galley, and I'm going to install a single-burner, gimballed kerosene stove. Operator's manual included.
