Monitor windvane, Sailrite LSZ 1, Fortress, etc

I have a number of useful items for sale, now that I'm certain I cannot sail for some time as a result of a major injury and associated health problems. I had to sell my Pacific Seacraft in February. Please see list below. I am out of the country until June 6, and can show or ship any items then. Items are located in Western NC. All prices are without shipping, from 28805. I am posting the pictures I have with me.

Monitor Windvane w/ wheel adapter in VGC $1950. It has been stored by me and the last owner. You can use serial number as I did to learn what boat it was sold for from Scanmar, but supports to fit my crealock were very reasonable compared to fabricating my own.

Sailrite LSZ 1 with monster balance wheel, $1000. Used for several cushions only.

Fortress FX 23 with stow bag and accessories $300. Anchor has seen little use, was stowed as backup.

Plastimo offshore 4 person liferaft, needs cert. Has been stored in climate controlled storage room in my house. $550

Garmin GPS 492 color chartplotter, affordable backup unit. $225

If you have any questions please let me know. Buy with confidence, these items are high quality and I have taken very good care of them.

Thanks for looking!

Re: Monitor windvane, Sailrite LSZ 1, Fortress, etc

Hello. I am interested in the sewing machine as I have some sewing to do before heading off sailing to the Pacific. I am in Florida. How old is it and what does it come with (addition attachments).

Thanks.

yvette

Hi Yvette, I'm pretty sure the machine is 6-7 years old, it's blue, if anyone here can date with color, lol. It has been stored in my climate controlled house in the mountains of NC. I bought with the best intentions but no longer need. The monster balance wheel is an add on to the LSZ1 so the you can operate by hand in a pinch, or simply gives more momentum when sewing heavy sailcloth etc. it hasn't been used. It's common to stow these on the boat for passage I think.

Comes with everything pictured there, ready to sew. Including the hard case if it can't be seen in picture.

Just send me a PM if you want, it is currently still for sale.

Thx

Just noticed your ad cheoah. If your first offer falls through let me know. I'll take it for $750 plus shipping. But Ywirta was first.

Re: Monitor windvane, Sailrite LSZ 1, Fortress, etc

Thanks Mike. I'm discounting rather hastily as I've only got a week to ship everything before I return home to the Bahamas. And this stuff is the tip of the iceberg. Cleaning house.

I feel some obligation to you from our conversation before and regret not contacting you directly the other day. Im sorry about that, really.

Okay. I would appreciate the machine for 750. This is my first time buying on the forum. How do we go about payment and shipping. My email is ywirta@bellsouth.net. Drop me a line with your contact info so we can move forward. Thank you! Eisenglass awaits!

Re: Monitor windvane, Sailrite LSZ 1, Fortress, etc

Will do -thanks - and you got the right guy to make your first purchase on the forum (I think) and you're getting a good value. I've sold a lot of goods in recent time and have experience with shipping large and heavy items and packing them appropriately. Do not expect a cheap shipping quote. It is a heavy item but I will only charge you what the carrier charges and insurance to appropriate level.

I return from the Bahamas early next week and will be in touch after getting a shipping quote to your address. I'll email you. Couple of suggestions for you, one is that it is typical to use the private messaging system to make deals, but I certainly do not care about that. But it is the convention. The other suggestion is to never list your personal email here. I've copied it now and suggest you edit it out of the thread if you want to.

I'll have pictures of the monitor posted next week for those who have expressed interest.
