This boat looks to be a steal for 150k unless there is something your not telling us. If I didn't have a CT 56, I would likely jump on this one. You should have no trouble selling her. Looks very nice. Too bad the bottom fell out of the economy and has not recovered as I sure you could have sold her for a lot more 3 years ago. Good Luck.

Re: Formosa 51 $150,000

Hi to all readers. I am Doug the owner of Angelique. Ruth and I have owned Angelique for a little over five years. I made a promise to my wife when we purchased her. That after those five years of following my dream if we so decided we would sell the boat. We are not giving up boating we are just changing our plans. They include a 36' boat and a small house, condo or apartment.
Angelique does have a few unfinished projects. And yes as any boat she has one or two unatended to items. None are large enough to prevent a sale. She has previously been listed for $185K but I want to sell and move forward to our new plans. I feel I am an honest and reasonable person so if you have questions or want more photos please contact me. I can tell you this. You will not be dissapointed. She is worth more than her listing price. My friends all think I'm nuts for selling. I'm begining to thing so myself. I did promise my wife and we all know "Happy wife Happy life" We have been together for 37 years.

Re: Formosa 51 $150,000

I just got word that Angelique just sold and Doug is out of town with no web connection. He's one of us the Breatherin of the Pudget Sound from PNW sailors. Doug has already found another boat for his retirement. Angelique is a really great boat and really well kept, been there done that boat.

I have a cash offer: Pending sea trial and survey. I would like to thank all of my fellow sailors for their kind words and encouragement. My new selection for our future adventures is an Islander Freeport 36.

Re: Formosa 51 $150,000

Forget the boat, you have an awesome, first class wife. Any woman that lets her husband follow a dream for 5 years is priceless, would you sell her for $150,000 and you get to keep the boat?

Just kidding the yacht is beautiful I doubt it will last long on the market.

Jack,
Is this boat back on the market? If so, sorry to hear that for your sake. Beautiful boat, can't believe someone backed out.
