Powerful vertical windlass / winch. It's got a drum for line or rope and NO chain gibsy. It's original!!



The motor is marked "Lucas" and the transmission is marked VF49. The brand of the windlass itself is unknown to me.
Perhaps anyone who's spots this ad can identify it.



I do know that it was lightly used at the stern of a sailboat as winch for the stern anchor. It could be used for the same purpose or as your main windlass. You could even use it as a winch for your main sheet.


It's complete including mounting hardware. Only small holes in the deck are needed. Mount it, connect it to 12V and you're set. It works perfect.


The drum is made of chromed bronze. The shaft is stainless
