Is the Datamarine Anemometer/Windvane Masthead Wind Instrument mentioned August 2018 still available? My vessel is a 1983 Pearson 303 with all Datamarine instruments. As far as i know the dial in the cockpit still works but the MHU is missing and no one seems to know what happened to it (the mounting bracket is still there). If the MHU you have is compatible with my cockpit apparent wind dial (I understand there were two versions that are incompatible with each other) I'd like to work out an arrangement with you. Please advise.

Hello Dave - this unit was paired with a 1981 Datamarine Cornithian LX 360 wind instrument. DMI Marine in Cape Cod rebuilds these units. There is a manual online too if you do a Google search for this model number.

I'm taking from your reply that your Datamarine MHU is still available. The LX360 model number sounds familiar (I couldn't check it when I submitted my post). It would appear to work with my cockpit display as they are only a couple of years apart. The one available from DMI ($750) appears to be for the newer display unit and would not work with my display. What arrangement can we make for you to ship it to me? Would you accept payment via Paypal? What are the estimated shipping costs to Maryland USA?
