Cruise RO SM20 water maker

Hi ,
I purchased a catamaran a few months ago and it has a Cruise RO SM20 water maker installed. I am still using the water maker and it works perfectly. It was purchased on 3/8/15 for $4680. I am asking for $3000 or $3500 with Honda 2000 generator.
Currently located in Charleston,SC but will be moving up the mid Atlantic in a couple weeks. And would prefer the buyer pick up the watermaker.

I will give you $1000 for the watermaker without the generator.

Re: Cruise RO SM20 water maker

look harder, I'm not doing it for you

in the end no one probably cares how much the last owner of your boat paid for the wm and there has to be a big enough savings to get a used unit

Sure I understand that. But I don't think you can get a new Cruise RO SM20 for the same price.

The buyer is taking on the risk buying a used watermaker (high pressure pump and fittings) without a warranty. If you sent the unit back to the manufacturer to get certified and than a warranty you can ask a higher price. ie.....factory certified BMW. You are not even showing pictures of the unit. Take it out of the boat show all the items you are selling.

It's still installed in the boat and it's hard to get good pictures because of where it's installed. I will continue to use the watermaker until it's sold. When someone purchases it, I'll pickle the unit and hand it off or ship it out.
It includes everything that you get when buying from Cruise RO, although you may need to buy more hose/line for plumbing if your runs are longer than mine.
AC high pressure pump
D.C. Boost pump
Duel element filter
Membrane
Control panel
And the lines and fittings used in my installation

I bought the boat in January and run the unit every 3 days. It works fine, it's just more water than I need and would prefer a smaller 12v unit.

Re: Cruise RO SM20 water maker

Come on, the CruiseRO is a total different level of parts quality to the eBay cheap units. This is a pretty basic unit... the A/C motors do not fail, the pumps are very good quality, the rest of the items run forever.

Thanks Matt.

I pretty sure the last guy was comparing the Cruise RO to some eBay brand. It really is a great unit, I even purchase the same model on my previous boat and had no issues. The owner of Cruise RO is very helpful and has great customer service. Even though I didn't purchase this unit from Rich, he's still answered all of my questions.
It really is a great water maker, but I'm installing lots of solar so a small 12v unit is a better fit for me.

Re: Cruise RO SM20 water maker

Here's the prices on the CruiseRo water makers. If I were in the market for a watermaker it would be at the top of my list.
