Bremer Sea Swing Stove

I bought this Sea Swing stove without the burner because I was planning on adding a camping gas propane stove to it. But I ended up buying a Sea Cook stove and don't need this anymore. Too nice to put in the trash. I've seen someone modify this by seperating the top and bottom (they are screwed together) and then putting some extensions between them so it will take a camping stove. Looked pretty cool. It's very well made. I paid $75 +S for it. I'd like to get $60 + 12 S&H for it in the US.

It has some surface corrosion but is very useable. The mounting fitting is there. I think it needs a set screw to hold the stove in the fitting. Should really not be a big deal.

I went from a gimballed two burner in my boat to a fixed two burner plus the Sea Cook...seemed to make more sense as I'm probably unlikely to be cooking big meals while at sea, so the gimballing is less valuable to me. You might find the same. Also great for a small boat. Anyway, have at it. Click image for larger version

Here's the picture. Seems like shorter extensions would be better but I have no idea. Up to you.

Re: Bremer Sea Swing Stove

These are great little "stoves" they are usually meant to be used with sterno cans which are cheap, easy, and no leaking camp stove gas or valves ect. I have one and using it with the sterno takes a while to make coffee with the perkolator but it works eventually. We use it to make soup and other stuff while under way all the time. You just have to plan on having it cook for about 15 min to get things piping hot. Good luck selling!

Hadn't thought about the sterno. I think there are a lot of options for this little thing.
