Brass Anchor Light

In Wilmington DE 19802

Beautiful Brass Anchor Light (4" lens) with a polished and lacquered finish runs on oil.

Model # 8611/0. This would make a beautiful present for yourself!

I bought this lamp new as a damaged lamp. There was a dent in the bottom and the screw-on bottom for the reservoir would not fit. I straightened it out and now it fits. I tested it out to make sure it would work without any problems and it was fine. This is as "good as new" except for repaired bottom.

Although it is fine and works, I am selling it as an ornamental lamp. New this lamp sells for over $300 on many sites on the web including Weems and Plath.

I'd like to get $89 USD plus shipping.

Re: Brass Anchor Light

If I understand you correctly, the lamp does work with oil. I would be interested if it is still fully functional.

Re: Brass Anchor Light

Wind River,

Yes, it does work with oil. I tested it and there were no problems. I kept it lit for about 20 minutes. My concern was that it could leak. But it didn't.

When I bought it the bottom was out of round. So much so that the bottom lid would not go on. I fixed it as best as I could and made it almost round. Look at the picture of the bottom and you can see the areas where it is still a little bit off (where the arrows are). But it seals without a problem.

I bought it at the boat show">Annapolis Boat Show at the Weems and Plath sale for about 1/2 price (I think I paid around $150-160). I no longer need it. Actually, I never really needed it but I thought it would be a nice addition. But now it's time to sell off everything I no longer need.
