Battery Terminal Fuses & Holders

Hi All,

I have a bunch of Blue Sea marine battery terminal fuses and fuse holders that I am getting rid of. They are all brand new, were never installed and come complete with terminal boots, washer, nut, fuse holder and fuse. These fuse holders are 1/4" post with a 3/8" hole.

Asking $23.00 each and they will ship USPS Flat Rate Small Box

*When I get a chance I will create a PayPal button to make it easier..

I have many sizes:

30A (great for solar or wind)
40A (great for solar or wind)
75A (great for solar, wind or small battery chargers)
100A (great for small alternators & battery chargers)
125A (great for med/small alternators, battery chargers, sm windlasses)
200A (great for small inverters, alternators)
225A (can handle starting loads of small engines)
250A (can handle starting loads of small engines)
300A (can handle starting loads of most sailboat engines)

They work great on busbars too:

Main battery bank protection to 300A:

Re: Battery Terminal Fuses & Holders

You have bunches of each, or just one ea of the list?
I want a few for windlass, inverter, main engine etc. If you have several I'll wait for the Paypal button, if not can I put dibs on some?
I have a lot of un fused connections and that makes me nervous. I assume best to fuse by wire size? Is there a better way?

Beautiful work.

The fuses seem to be Buss CBBF and the fuse holders Buss CBBF-MBC.

MaineSail, what is your labeller? I use a Dymo but I find the labels aren't adhesive enough...although I suppose I could glue them. White on black makes sense. Beautiful work, as usual.

Re: Battery Terminal Fuses & Holders

i think in an earlier post he mentioned that he puts labels (printed on a brother p-touch, using tz-tape) under clear heat shrink tubing. you can actually see that in the photos above.

i did that in a recent project, worked well.

hope that helps!

Can I suggest you use the Dymo, but then put some clear heat shrink over the top. I've done my whole boat like that. It stops the ink in the Dymo labels from fading too and of course they can't fall off. It's the cheapest way of labelling.

(edit) now I enlarge his photo's it's what Mainsail has done by the look of it.

Sorry I just realized my PM box was chock-full. I cleaned it out a bit.

Ah, good idea. I like and use the Dymo, but the adhesion is not ideal.
