Trim tab auxiliary rudder windvane. Separate rudder and control head makes this rig ideal for center cockpits or ketches, or boats with davits, since the vane can be mounted in a different location than the rudder. The system is complete with the exception of one L-bracket and the four hull brackets. All are available from Scanmar. Auto-helm originally made two sizes of this system, and this is the smaller size. Best suited to boats under 34 feet. Due to the size and weight of the auxiliary rudder, shipping will be quite expensive....hence the very low price. Please refer to Scanmar’s website for any questions about installation. As Polar said in his original post “ due to the size and weight of the auxiliary rudder, shipping will be quite expensive”. I am in California and will step a side for pressuredrop since he can pick it up.

Just for the information of other buyers, the shipping to California was as much as I am asking for the unit...$250.
