AirX marine wind generator

2009 model. It was on the boat when I bought it, but I've never used it because solar covers my needs sufficiently. The blades are in perfect shape. I took them down a while back, and they have been stored inside since.

I'd like to get $450 for it, shipped to the continental US. For that, you'll get the generator, nose cone, blades, mounting hardware, and as much of the wiring as I can reasonably uninstall. If you want the pole it's mounted on, I'll include it, but shipping is on you. If you want to pick it up in St Augustine, I'll knock off the shipping cost.

Re: AirX marine wind generator

Interested in buying. How many watts is the output? How loud is it?

Thanks

Kevin

Re: AirX marine wind generator

It's rated for 400 watts. I can't answer the noise question, because I never used it. A guy I met once in my travels told me that the annoyance of the noise is less than his enjoyment of the cold beer it enabled. So there's that testamonial.

First Generation was really noisy. FWIW we have a 2005 unit on our boat. The noisiest time was when the bearings were wearing out on the shaft, think steady rumble. A pair of eight dollar bearings reinstalled (6202) all is good.
