2 Cheap Boats in the Bahamas

The Marsh harbor Marina and Jibroom has two nice sailboats in need of a little TLC.

1. Alberg 35 with a new 3 cyl westerbeke diesel, Sails, bimini, wheel pilot that might work. Only $5,000

2. Sabre 28, Atomic 4 runs great, has sails, ground tackle etc. only $4,000

The Bahamian tax duty has been paid on both of these boats so they can stay in the Bahamas if you want. These are running boats that need some cleanup an a little paint.

pm me for details

Ok ... it is brand new in a box ! not... it is a good boat cheap that in a few houres you can drive back to the states or leave it (Duty paid) in the bahamas and enjoy. It has teak deks that likelly leak a bit. Its an old boat that youy could llive on and improve. It is not a new boat. So what are you looking for at 4k? This is a working boat...in the water not a yard project. mwheyer@gmail.com for pix. IIf you are realy interested get back to me. all others f##kOff

Hey... It's no big deal to place a few details/pic on a website surely? That way people would have more info, wouldn't ask so many questions, and you wouldn't feel the need to be coarse in your responses.

Re: 2 Cheap Boats in the Bahamas

Sorry, Bad form . I have been getting really dumb replys and got a little rummed up on my response late one evening. If anyone would like some pictures of either boat contact Marsh Harbor Marina & Jibroom restaraunt : jibroom@hotmail.com (Can I put in a link?)

They are nice boats.
no, I cannot deliver it/them to FL for a survey
no, they do not have watermakers
no, I do not know how much it will take to fix the teak decks.
No, The marina is not looking to trade for a Renkin runabout that does not work
and sadly,, they are not looking to finance the purchace.

I will try to post more pictures. It appears you cannot post them on a PM.

Re: 2 Cheap Boats in the Bahamas

I know how frustrating it can be to sell a boat and especially a cheap one that only needs a little labor. When I sold my Rawson, I would have been better off asking a higher price to attract a different "type" of buyer. I can imagine how frustrating it must be for you Antares since the boats are not even yours and just trying to do a good deed for the harbor.

Boatman,
If you are looking for warm winters, I know you know the Caribbean is much warmer than the Bahamas. Plus, I'll have someone to hang out with when I am down there!

Re: 2 Cheap Boats in the Bahamas

I am presently docked right next to the Alberg and she apears to be a good solid boat. Looks good for the price.
