I have a set of 100% remanufactures 120 Ford Lehman's, Ford Dags, to those who know the
history of these faithful diesels.
These engines were rebuilt buy Bob Lester, he was "Lead
Mechanic
for CAT in
Alaska for over 25 years. All
parts were purchased from American
Diesel. The larger Simms injection pumps and injectors were 100% rebuilt by
Oregon Fuel. Cost for the two pumps and 12 injectors...$1,500.00 for each
pump, $75.00 each for 12 injectors. Do the math.
Rebuild kits, sleeves, all bearing, rods and pistons, rings all from American
Diesel, Bob Smith. Heads 100% new valves, springs, resurfaced surface and polished
ports.
These engines are set up to run dry
exhaust using a
keel cooler.

These diesels came out of a 1946 Matthews 42' I also have a ton of
parts. I have been rebuilding boats for over 30 years...lots of parts, props and such.
