Re: 12 volt Water Maker

"whisper quiet" sounds great to me, would consider a low gph unit that runs off the bank

if that is true

Re: 12 volt Water Maker

I purchased this water maker from a friend who had it for his circumnavigation. He is a bit of a minimalist and he only ran it a few times. After I purchased it took it to one of their factory service depots in Seattle Washington. They inspected and tested it. They said it was in excellent shape. They said even though it is rated at 160 GPD it could easily produce 200 GPD if a bigger membrane or a second membrane was used. They re-pickled it for me and it has been in storage. My cruising plans have changed and I am now selling it.

As for the noise ? I am not sure how loud it is when it is running. Perhaps some further research on that issue will answer that question ?

It is a 12 volt system modular system and it is good shape.

I hope that helps, thank your for your time.

12 volt Water Maker

How does this GPD work, is that a 24 hr run, or an 8 hr run?
If you want to sell it, you need to place a post in the classifieds, with a price and location, pictures seem to help sell too.

How long ago was it inspected?
What year was it manufactured?

Re: 12 volt Water Maker

This Little Wonder Water maker was made 12 / 05 / 1998

I took it in and had it tested and checked over in Seattle Washington in 2014 when Village Marine Tech had service depots.

Parker Marine has since purchased, Village Marine Tech who made the Little Wonder Series of water makers. Parker has also purchased Sea Recover and HRO Water Makers.

I will try and post some pictures of the unit tonight.
