What online store do you use the most?

I get a lot of stuff off of e-bay and have a few favorite online retailers, most are specific to a particular sort of equipment/material.

I should have been more specific. I was refering to sailing oriented retailers. I use Ebay quite a bit. I just wonderd if there were any good online retailers out there that im missing. sites that sell things like safety harness's, electronics.... right now im specifically looking for a good sailing harness pdf combo, some good 5-6 gallon gas jerry cans, used sails.

Defender is good, but whenever I need something I Google the product, then compare prices.

Usually there is a big difference and for the same brand name I pick the cheapest..Not always, but usually.

Had 95% good experience with this method.

Can't afford to pay full price, the boat would be twice as expensive...

I did the whole Raymarine suite last year - C80 MFD, Radar, Wind, Speed, Depth, Autohelm and the best prices for these was WWW.Boatersland.com. They are located in Ohio but have a warehouse on the East Coast in New Jersey. My boat was in Fall River Mass at the time and it only cost $17.00 in shipping for all of it. Received it in 2 days and NO SALES TAX - give em a try.

It may depend on how specialized the product is. I bought a holding tank on ebay from an inventory sell down. It was one third the cost of purchasing it from the manufacturer or another dealer. Some books you might purchase from Amazon will be shipped from another supplier you could just as easily buy direct from, possibly Bluewater Books or Landfall Navigation. Defender has a good selection of sailing supplies. West Marine also can provide a decent source of product IF it is on sale. Some products can be found at Cabelas or another online sporting goods retailer.

I used West Marine and Fisheries Supply most. But also ebay quite a bit.

www.go2marine has quite a bit of stuff, some prices are very good, others are not. They will ship USPS, which is handy for liveaboards like me that don't have a street address. Google can help, but many online retailers keep listings of their stuff in a database where google won't find it.
