"The definition of success is happiness"

When i was younger my dad used to tell me that, while my mom would tell me that the definition of success is money...

This, from a guy who is about 5'5" with a first
mate who is right around 5' tall.

Didn't work for me (6'2") and my first mate
(also 6'2"). At our height, the bunks alone
must be about 6'7" for any kind of comfort.
...not to mention headroom.

a catalina 30 is pretty small and simple, great little boat
i just meant a solo sailor doesn't need a luxurious 60 footer, its just too much and i sure aint simple.
But yeah its true larry pardley and his wife together pretty much equaled 1 whole human LOL

Better to sit quietly and be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth (or keyboard) and remove all doubt.

Victor Hugo- If you have ever loved someone you have seen the face of God.

Diana Gabaldon.(paraphrased) When the time comes for one of us to leave this world if the last words from me are not I love you, it's because it happened to fast.

You must know the sea, and know that you know it, and know that it was meant to be sailed upon.

Re: What is Your Favorite Quote?

Youngson:

We actually lived aboard and cruised a Kettenburg 41 for
several years. We've now downsized by 11
feet. The Catalina 30 seems to have about
the same usable space inside, because the
K41 was a much finer design and
carried its length in long overhangs.

Oops. Thread drift. Sorry.
