It has always been interesting to me the questions that cruisers in preparation tend to ask on
forums such as this to better understand the world of cruising and living on a sailboat.
Just for fun, what if our perspective were reversed and people living on land were in the minority rather than those who live on sailboats/cruising?
What questions would be asked in that case? Here are some examples to get started.
1) Rather than a discussion on generators - What type of lawnmower do you have? Pro's and Con's of that model? Dangerous to store
fuel in your garage? How much gas does it use?
2) Rather than a discussion on heads - What type of
toilet do you have? Do you use a
water efficient model? Pro's and con's? What do you use to clean it?
I think you get the point, kind of puts an interesting perspective on the typical questions asked and answered on CF. Have fun with it. What questions would you ask if dwelling on land were the exeption?
