What if Dwelling on Land Were the Exception Rather Than the Rule?

It has always been interesting to me the questions that cruisers in preparation tend to ask on forums such as this to better understand the world of cruising and living on a sailboat.

Just for fun, what if our perspective were reversed and people living on land were in the minority rather than those who live on sailboats/cruising?

What questions would be asked in that case? Here are some examples to get started.

1) Rather than a discussion on generators - What type of lawnmower do you have? Pro's and Con's of that model? Dangerous to store fuel in your garage? How much gas does it use?

2) Rather than a discussion on heads - What type of toilet do you have? Do you use a water efficient model? Pro's and con's? What do you use to clean it?

I think you get the point, kind of puts an interesting perspective on the typical questions asked and answered on CF. Have fun with it. What questions would you ask if dwelling on land were the exeption?

Wht do you do with so much freezer and refrigeration space? Don't you loose your belongings in a house that big?
Is it hard to walk on land will I wobble to and fro??

this "fun" thread is the collective traumatised results of the closure of the "Any Preppers" thread

PS
and for that matter people on land discuss "politics", propulsion, cooking, travels, pets, love and money ..and all sort of Sh#t

My power usage is dropping below a Megawatt per quarter. How do I fix that?

Which generator is the most reliable/cheap and where can I get spares for it?

Which water heater works the best for me?

... oh, it's the same...

Re: What if Dwelling on Land Were the Exception Rather Than the Rule?

1. What if my house is upsidedown?
2. My roof is leaking, but I can't find any stanchions or cleats up there. Where can it be coming from.
3. Wait a minute, you mean to tell me the this whole thing is held together with nails and galvanized fixtures.

4. Do i have to get up at the same time everyday and drive somewhere where I perform tasks for a "boss" only to give all that money to a bank, and utility company.

I am worried about my neighbors dragging, they have such a little fence.
