We have 3 flat screens on our 40' boat - sounds silly, I know but everyone wants their own in their cabin, and one in salon. They are all TV/DVD LCD units - ranging from 10" to 15" and take very little power or space. Our daughter has a game cube hooked up to hers. At anchor we usually just watch DVDs - but we can pick up a few channels with our TV antennai (just one that plugs into the cable input on the TV - nothing fancy. We also watch our home videos on our boat TV. I don't think we will ever have the need for a follow-me type thingee - we can get our fix from options above.

I like Jef's response. We watch maybe 2 cartoons a day max on DVD. This is the entire extent of our TV viewing. We have the setup pictured at the bottom of this thread. I have never used any apreciable amount of energy watching TV with this setup, even though it's AC to DC to AC to DC again to run it. It's just a drop in the proverbial bucket when put next to other demands such as refrigeration, lighting and computer use.
