TV news on demand outside US

Living in Tortola( or anywhere outside the US), I have been disappointed that I can not get decent TV news programs live. I recently found Reuters TV and was able to watch a half hour update of world news on my laptop.
Anybody else have suggestions about news on line in video formation?

Almost all of the streaming boxes, Fire TV, Fire Stick, etc have news apps. I know I have CBS Now or something like that on my Fire TV

Re: TV news on demand outside US

Many on-line content providers limit their distribution to certain geographic areas. When you hook up to the web your IP address identifies your location, and the source can refuse to send you content.

One way to get around this is to use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) provider. It will usually cost you a few $/month, some are free, but often slow. Most VPN providers offer servers in various locations, and as such your location can appear to come from the location of their server. Thus, the provider can perceive your location as (say) San Francisco, and you can get the content you want. This can also work for services such as Amazon Kindle or Netflicks. Google VPN providers and you will find what you need.

Geez, you live on Tortola, in paradise, and you wanna mess up your mind with news? Trump loses. Big news of the day for the next two weeks. Now, go out and play.

sign up with a VPN service for $10 a month and use USA servers...walla...youre back in the US. Then subscribe to hulu, netflix, direct tv now and enjoy.

We just returned from a cruise to the Keys a few daze ago. One of the best aspects of the event was escaping the torrent of (sometimes non-) news!

we find about 8 hrs after arriving in the islands we don't miss the news. Get occasional update online, but focus on local news and weather.

Don't feel bad. Living INside the US we can't get decent news either.

Oh, the programs come in fine. It's the content we're all tiring of!

Try BBC or Al Jazer...two of the last bastions of something resembling real journalism...long gone in the USA.

Wife is into USA politics...watches lots of USA stations via USTVNOW. We stream NPR/PRI via their apps too.
