Re: Took A Dip at the Dock

Fiance & I were walking down our dock back to the boat with some shopping a couple of weeks back. Our whole marina is very, very old and actually very dangerous (new owners in the last few weeks that are finally re-doing it).

Anyways, he's walking just ahead of me and stops dead, turns around and says to me, "That board is really loo-*SPLASH*... and falls straight through. Luckily he wasn't hurt and he caught himself from going in any further, one inch more and the iPhone would have had a dip too! Yikes!

Re: Took A Dip at the Dock

Yesterday my cheap old flip phone that didn't even have a photo function slipped from my pocket to the deep Maine waters. I would not of lamented the loss, but for the collection of about 60 take out pizza numbers near public landings from Maine to the Bahamas. Not that I'll miss the chance to order a pizza,- it's just the loss of the collection. Few liveaboards can have such a large collection with so little space required! Now, my new phone has an automatic savings of contact numbers, but I'm not enthused to start from zero!
