Oh, now that's good! How long did it take you to make that? LOL!
I do like it though.

I would not care for it myself. I don't see the point in it.

I probably wouldn't either. At least not while under way. Now at anchor is a different story. Of course I would need a LOT of sunscreen. Don't want ANY chance of a burn.

The point of it is freedom from the restriction of clothes that bind and pinch. Ever go skinny dipping, or nude hot tubbing? Feels a lot different than in a suit. A lot more comfortable.
And yes, you do need to be careful of the sun, as well as cold water (don't need the shrinkage).

That looks like the catamaran that we often see in Negril! (from the nude beach )

nude sailing

My boyfriend and I love to sail nude - it's very liberating. The problem is that I sail nude when NO ONE is around and he does it ALL the TIME (not in the marinas or busy anchorages of course). I am always telling him to put a wrap on. Down the Caribbean chain, where there are more Europeans than that's when I feel comfortable being nude. Until than, I will keep my bikini on and frown at my boyfriend for going free willy.

I've been telling everybody we have a Nude Sailing Permit but nobody believed me.

Nudity is a personal choice of course but I can't believe how uptight Americans are about it. I have traveled all over with my children and they don't think twice about seeing a topless woman or any other form of nudity. Primarily because we have never made a big deal out of it. We have never made a small deal out of it. They will not grow up with hangups about seeing a naked human body.
We aren't nudists and we don't walk around the house naked. We just don't sensationalize it when nudity happens in front of our kids. No diving to cover their eyes, no screaming to look the other way.
I just told them long ago that once I saw my parents naked inadvertently and my eyes were crossed for a month.
Now when they walk our bedroom unannounced and discover me or my wife disrobed they politely find someplace else to be. In a hurry!

Whot, only 199.22kb. Surely in these days of megapixels we can do better.

So I gather that no one here gives a rip about skin cancer. A rather cavalier attitude in a world where UV intensity is increasing.

Most that DO should NOT....

In my experience, most people that do sail naked, should only do so way outside the sight of land, and WAY outside normal shipping lanes! lol

When I started out cruising, I looked forward to all the beautiful people sailing naked, as depicted by popular Tee Shirts.

Sometimes, you will find a trophy wife, or an idealistic young person sans clothing. Usually, it's just an old man. If pulling into crowded areas, they will SOMETIMES put on a pair of tighty whity underwear, in a nod toward modesty. They seem to believe any more clothing than that would discourage someone in the crowded anchorage or mooring field from checking out their physical prowess.

That's awesome. But I think the fees might be a little low. Especially for California.

Great license! Exactly what I'd expect to find here in Cal. Don't worry about the low fees though they have a way of starting low and getting higher than anyone can afford. Hell man, here they tax the taxes because no one taxed it yet!
You guys are real creative when it comes to licenses. When is the last time you actually paid for a real one? Man, I need to sharpen up my print shop skills. I could be making a ton of money. LOL
