Starter Video Camera Recommendations

What would be a good starter camera & related equipment for someone just getting going with video? Am looking at shooting mostly in the sailing environment.

I am a reasonable accomplished still photographer, but would like to do more more video. I know my first camera will be the one where I learn what I really need, so am not looking to spend big bucks.

I have a gopro for video. The fisheye lens is a little weird, but the waterproof case and low cost is nice. It can take a wave, works for scuba diving, and it's really small. You can rail mount it and catch a lot of footage.

Thanks Rebel, I was wondering if these would be worth looking at. Which version do you have? I see they now have a "professional" version.

I have the cheapo base model. A lot of the higher end stuff is related to shooting in HD, but for me I don't do anything fancier than hosting on youtube or similar services, so having the really awesome definition isn't worth it to me. A lot if also based on the mounts that are included.
