Looks like he's going to face a mix of westerlies and light airs in all sorts of directions until Tuesday or Wednesday. ATM he looks to be passing Almeria but will hit the westerlies this morning. A couple of frustrating days ahead.

If he decides to sail through the conditions, then he'll be crossing the shipping lanes a lot. Perhaps he will choose to day trip the remaining 150nm to Gib motorsailing when necessary?

Hes g-going for it. I would have tucked in for a rest and a snapshot with the locals. But that boaty, unpredictable and full of spartan! GO BOATY!!!

Sure is some confused winds.
Sometimes its one direction nice and easy and switches in a few days and sometimes its Miller time.

Its Miller time. (Or Mahou time if'n in Spain).
