Re: spot the boatman!

Ahh Boaty updates and makes a subtle strategic turn to bypass Cartegena me thinks. Keeping to his original. Must've found some very nice coffee

Nice light tail winds; but will pick up tomorrow 25-30 knts in western med.

Hopefully, Boaty will be tucked in and smooching a smelly beef pie.

Almeira is cheaper

Depends to on whether Boatie is going to keep his Boat in Portugal or Spain for the duration. I think he is going to keep it South coast regardless.

As always, time will tell.

I think his intention is to get it to his home port, figera de foz,any where else and he might have to get a proper job just to cover the mooring fees!
plus his other GF lives there

Re: spot the boatman!

So me guess is correct. Im looking at YOU Weavis!

Me bet is PORTU-GAL which is where his GAL lives. AND, who wants to keep it in SPAIN anyway. Portugal is civilised.

And now lets go to the weather. Take it away SaltyMonkey.

Winds 20 from the ENE today, as we see Boaty read some comics and sing stupid songs about trailers and camping. Then tomorrow, a crafy bonus, as the winds totally shift from the W and lower down to around 10-15. Oh yesyesyesy, Bonus question folks:

Q: What do you think will happen to dem waves when dem winds shifts totally from the EAST to DA WEST in such a sukky shallow place like the Med near FRANCE of all sukki places?

A: CONFUSED SEAS read that!

GO BOATY! BE CAREFUL!

Re: spot the boatman!

I haven't seen the forecast but if it's westerly boaty will be holing up this side of gib till it turns easterly. Usually the straights blow a few days from each direction then alternate. Going through in a westerly is doable but slow going with 4kn tide against..ugh
