I love this song! I'll definitely be listening to it when the boat goes back into the water.

Re: Songs To Sail By
Well, I've got to revive this thread to post my new favorite:
YouTube - ‪Zac Brown Band - Knee Deep (ft. Jimmy Buffett)‬‏
I also like this one:
Sorry about the ad in the beginning.
FYI - Buffett cracks me up - I love him.

Re: Songs To Sail By
How about "Love the weigh you lie" by eminem and "Rock of Ages" by Def Leppard as a pleasant change from "sailing" by Christopher Cross, "Walk a mile in my shoes" by whitey ford and "Sweet home alabama" and "Working for mca" by Lynard Skynard AND some kick -ass "Righteous Brothers" at night to keep you awake mixed with some "johnny cash" tunes like "i walk the line" and last but not least Pink FLotd's "Momentary lapse of reason" the whole CD on repeat all night long. Next night it is Duran duran all night long on repeat.Next night it is Micheal Jackson "Bad" on repeat all night long. Then the "Eagles" and 'Supertramp"'s "Coming to america" all night long till we are across the ocean. By the time i hit NYC i know the words to "gimme more breakfast" by Supertramp and "Love the way you lie" better than most DJs. Cheers

- Dentists for some reason statistically have a high suicide rate as well as many found dead by suicide{pills etc} were listening to the blues. Even though i have listened intently to "muddy waters " and the like up to the passing of "Stevie ray vaughn" there could be some truth to "rap" music brainwashing violence among youth and the "blues" causing suicide. Sometimes the music can help lift your spirits and make any day anywhere brighter. Cheers

Re: Songs To Sail By
For me it's either Swedish deathmetal (e.g In Flames) or Beethoven (any odd-numbered symphony will do). There's nothing in between. Well... maybe a little Chuck Berry or AC/DC or one of the Brandenburg Concertos...
