SCUBA Who Here Knows Newman?

As a somewhat well travelled Canadian, A common question I've heard is "Do you know...", even though we're a nation of over 35 million people. Perhaps remarkably, I've been thousands of miles from home and actually occasionally known the person in question. In that vein, I've got a friend who is seemingly well known in SCUBA circles in North America as Newman. I know it may be a long shot, but who here knows Newman? I could give you more info but, to be honest, if you know Newman, you don't need any more details.

If you do know him, I've got some stories to share that won't surprise you. If you don't know him, you probably won't believe the stories. If you happen to be Newman and reading this, have a carrot you fat bastard.

As an aside to an aside, anyone here familiar with Long Point know of Dave Stone?
