RiverWalk Landing docks at Yorktown VA

Goto RIVERWALKLANDING.COM
click docking

Has anyone had any experience doing this on the 4th of July?
I was wondering if all the spaces are taken now.

The dockmaster for that place does not
answer the phone
return voicemail which when you call he says to he will do.
respond to email

To me that means they just dont care.
I live less than half hour away so I am thinking of driving over there.
Likely no one is at home!

They do answer the hail on Ch16. As for reservations, that I do not know.

Re: RiverWalk Landing docks at Yorktown VA

Dockmaster did return my emails and said to reserve for the fourth you need to send in your reservation in January.
He did say you can pull up to the outer dock to let people on and off.
Is there a $5 charge for that? Website seems to mention this.

If we take the boat over there we will anchor in the York river. It is a 20 mile trip from my slip.
what is ".$5 per day trip."?

What about the York Landing Marina on Sarah Creek? Less current, nice anchorage.
