Pontine islands, italy

Use spent a few days showing the inlaws Italy. For years I've been going, and never noticed that ponza is an incredible port of call for sailing! Everyone needs to check it out!

Re: Pontine islands, italy

Sounds interesting! My girlfriend just found out she may be attending a conference in Verona year after next and we are looking to get on the water either before or after her conference. Does anyone know if there might be crewed charters available out of Ponza or other locations in Italy?

Well there are slot of different paths you could take in Italy, but the main ports are venice, genoa, civitavecchia, and Naples. Just remember that at those spots you get regular tourists. I like ponza and my home town formia because it's not tainted too much by external tourism. You just get alot of Italian tourists. Sunsail had a boat there this year, so that's worth a shot. Also on ponza, every other store front was scuba, motors boat, or small sailboat rentals. Ps try the scuba on ponza and ventotene. There's a WW2 vessel about 60ft down....awesome
