And one more. Very remote, very different and very cool. Northern Indonesia, can't remember island name. Cool night, sipping a wine at anchor watching the lava flow.

Re: Pictures of secluded beaches

Croatia is beautiful! I have spent some time in Zadar (and many other places in Croatia, along the coast and across to Vukovar) and love the country and the people. Welcome to CF, Marko!

Re: Pictures of secluded beaches

Just returned from two weeks of sailing in Croatia. Beautiful country and great people. Not much sand for beaches though.

[QUOTE=robinco;2317442]A problem with showing pictures of secluded beaches is that they may not stay secluded for long.

Also somewhere in NZ

Cayo coco cuba. This is the beach for the resort we stayed at. So not secluded, but hardly being used

New Zealand:
Ah a Kiwi beach at last! Complete with our Christmas tree, the Pohutukawa.

Re: Pictures of secluded beaches

Some people will go to any length to have their own private beach. These enterprising Kiwis wished to avoid the alcohol ban on their local beach at Christmas so they, with the help of some American friends, decided to make their own beach, claiming they were now in international waters and were free to party up! Mind you, I think they were taking a page out of the Chinese in the South China Sea.

That picture looks like Coralie Bay on Great Mercury Island. Really enjoyed out time there. Great shot.

Not too far away.
It's Sandy Bay, southern Great Barrier Island.
Here's a somewhat more recent pic taken from the sea, also looking somewhat more secluded.

Re: Pictures of secluded beaches

One of our favourites, Oke Bay, B.O.I. NZ. Pretty crowded in summer but come Autumn and it can be deserted.
