Damn that must have been a long time ago..

My graduating class was over 250 and that was 20 years ago. I think last years graduating class was 350 at Bev Facey in Sherwood Park. Don't think there is any principal anywhere who could name every graduating student out of 350.

Yes I went to PK from 1963 to 66, I think there was only a total of about 350 students in 4 grades from 9 to 12.
Was an experimental school in many ways including No Windows!

I concur about the great fishing on the Southern reef.

You must of gone to the older PK, which is now a junior high, Lorne Aikens. My kids went to the newer PK, and the school was stuffed with 1100 kids.

So much for global warming!

I am a few miles south of you (about 2600 clicks) and the temp here at noon is 18*C. I understand we will be getting a front from your direction that will drop the temps down to a frigid 7 or 8 degrees C (overnight, not daily highs). Downright unfriendly of you to leave the gate open. Texans break out the parkas when the temps drop below 60F.

No beach pics but no snow, either. Not till next month, maybe.

Stay warm ...

Oh global warming is real up here. No doubt. The fact that we have snow in November means nothing (its 50/50 whether we have snow on halloween).

The fact that we don't see -35c for weeks on end like we used to is pretty telling.

Re: Pictures of secluded beaches

Let's try a non-tropical beach on a deserted island right on the US/Canada border (me in the dinghy) or a minus tide in South Puget Sound. The tide went from -2.8' to +15.7' in 7 hours.

Re: Pictures of secluded beaches

Our primary reason for cruising SE Asia is the deserted beaches. Keep an eye on the blog for fix; more coming as I update.
