Passage Treats for Trip Milestones ?

Does anyone have suggestions for mid-passage, team-building, morale-boosting treats or activities? And advice on when to pull them out along the way?

I'm about to go on a 3 week delivery as crew and would like to bring something that would be fun for all at certain points or milestones along the way. For example, at the quarter, half-way and end-points. Or every Friday...?

Would appreciate any out-of-the-box creative thinking. The crew likes a bit of wackiness. Off hand I can come up with baked goods events (I think I can pull off a cake without burning it), dessert treats for a 'milestone meal' (like half-way point)... and my crew would probably be wild for crossword books... I think. 'Specially if I can find them with a nautical theme... But is this just a recipe for seasickness?

Any other non-food-based treats that others have had success with?

If you have oven stock some of the "add one egg and water" cookie mixes. Warm gooey CC, peanut butter or walnut cookies are awesome. I dont make them into cookies but rather put the whole mix in a pan about 1 inch thick. Have to experiment a bit with cooking temp and time but its close to the package recommendation. Cut into squares after baking.

Not healthy but last week 8 hours into an 11 hour race someone pulled out a pack of spicy jerky sticks. Not real beef jerky but the log looking things. We were becalmed at the time and one each was a spirit lifter.

Extra sharp cheese (we call it stinky cheese) and crackers are another quick on- board favorite.

Hard candy is always good.

Ruffles and French Onion dip. Ruffles is the king of potato chips

Westbound draw straws for who gets an hour off when you cross time zones.

Chocolate.

Movie night.

Some special beverages to accompany special milestone meals...something a bit different like a nice mead or a good craft-brewed beer. A beer with a sailing related heritage like an IPA or an Imperial Stout would be a good match. Or something specific to your intended destination(s) like one of the superb Venezuelan or Guatemala rums if heading to the western Carib.

This of course assumes that your crew is capable of consuming responsibly and in moderation with a meal.

we fill a few grocery bags full of "snacks", junk food and candy and the like... one bag comes out per week. the crew has full access to the current snack bag, which has roughly a week's worth of treats but they tend to go pretty fast. when the newest snack bag comes out, it's quite an event.

on one trip where we were at sea over xmas we had a surprise santa .
each crew member was given a budget of $2 to buy a prezzy for another.

ended up playing russian roulette with a toy cap gun where the looser had to down shots!
all prezzys were bought in yemen!

A twist on secret santa is the grinch that stole christmas. All prezzies go in a pile and you figure out a choosing order. First person chooses and unwraps. Second person chooses and unwraps. If he doesn't like what he got he can steal from any previous chooser. The limit is you can only be stolen from once in each round. If you are stolen from you can keep or you can steal from anyone who has not been stolen from in that round. Nest round third person chooses and the cycle repeats. With 20 folks or so it gets really crazy...

Another really fun gag is to buy 8 nerf dart guns. Buy extra darts. Pour the pile on the table and in a few minutes a war breaks out. Just make sure no one goes overboard... We spent like $40 and had a blast over Christmas...

Then of course thenold fallbacks of pictionary and charades...
