Moored next to Wheels at Maori Bay Pelorus Sound, NZ

I am tied up next to Wheels on a club mooring in the outer Pelorus Sounds. We are getting ready to shoot around to the Queen Charlotte Sounds in the morning. We had Christmas dinner with Alan and Dawn this year.

He said to say Merry Christmas to you all and hope you all have a happy, safe and prosperous new year.

Wheels & Dawn, Leisure Lady.

Paula and Darryl, Seafox.

"Very well, you hand it over and we'll put your town to our rudder and ne'er return" Captain Barbossa, Black Pearl, Pirates of the Caribbean.

Enjoy yourselves but don't catch all the fish before we get there late in January .

Is it my imagination that except for a minor blemish around Christmas, this summer is just like the good old ones I remember but have not seen for quite a while?
