Land transportation

What do you carry on board for getting around on land when you dock? Do you carry regular bikes, fold up bikes? Motor scooters? Or what else? And don't be smart with me, I know we all have two good feet, but like I said, what else?

Nothing but walking,bus, cab and rarely rent a car! I used to have 2 fold up bikes but did not use them enought to keep them onboard

I've also had good luck borrowing cars from other yachties who are more or less permanent residents and have local cars. Be aware of local driving laws (your home country driver's license may not be accepted). I pay for the loan and also fill the tank before returning the car. My favorite loan was from a generous ex-pat couple on board Tudor Rose whose car was named Four Door Rose.
