Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

You should start one ... I did.. It's more of a personal diary to help keep me motivated towards completing a boat restoration project I started. I figured every time I feel like giving up, I'll just go write something.. Lol

Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

Like some above, mine is nothing special at all, but more a place for me to document parts of the journey I'm on, be it for maintenance stuff, or just a place to jot down memories of certain sails, and such. It's more for me, but there are bits and pieces that have helped others too (like the hinged mast plate I used, I've been asked about, etc).

It takes me more than ten minutes... Lol But it's still fun. Especially on rainy days...

Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

Takes me a couple hours to process, crop, upload the photos to a hosting site. Half an hour or so to write the words under the photos. But my posts are unreasonably long in most cases. Would be better to do it once a week and keep the size down. Then, it could be a half hour job.

That's what it takes me too. At least an hour and closer to two. I update more in the winter then in the summer. The pics take the longest. Just updated today...check it out..

Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

We are in our first year of cruising full time on an Amel 53. We both are long-term amateur photographers and both like too write. We usually post about once a week, less if we don't have much to say. We are getting a pretty large following on the blog and also FaceBook. Here is the link: Cream Puff

We welcome feedback about the blog. Thanks in advance for checking us out.

Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

Well I guess I'll throw our little website into this mix. We are refitting now, shooting for a July departure from New Orleans, LA to somewhere.. We try to post our at land and at sea adventures we have but have been a little busy lately with refitting, both working offshore, and planning our wedding in June. We hope to meet a lot of folks we follow online during our travels. Enjoy yourself, go have a looksie!

Dont forget the menu for extras, we have more updates via our Twitter and Instagram feeds (:
