Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

Started my blog a little over 2 years ago. So far it has been a lot more working on the boat than sailing her. This year will be different...or at least I am telling myself that.

I make an amazing lasagna casserole with zucchini-it is pretty imaginative as NO ONE would think to use thin slices of zucchini in place of the pasta. Photos will be on their way- recipe too!

We attended the Strictly Sailing Show in Chicago recently and got our picture taken with Bob Bitchin. We posted the pic on our blog.

Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

We are a young couple on a sailboat pursuing their dream of sailing around the world on a 39 feet aluminum boat. We wish to sail off beaten track but for now we are in the waters of the caribean. The blog is about sailing, photography, being happy, live with nature and discover new ways of living. We are also on the making of a movie (long term project), currently collecting images.

Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

My wife and I keep two. Mine is in English and hers is in Chinese. The latter one is interesting because she has many readers and the people who read it typically have no idea what sailing and cruising is all about, but are curious for sure.

My blog is onAinia.blogspot.com. Have not done much in the last few months as we wait out cyclone season in Brisbane. Will get busier soo.

Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

I have just created a blog and I have today just signed up with cruiser forum!
I am loving the sailing blogs they are such a good read. My partner and I are on a hunt for a boat to sail around the world on, with the dream to take off within 12 months.
CF has been really great so far for knowledge and greater tips!

Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

Wow, I really didn't know there were soooo many blogs.

I have never had a blog until 2 years ago. Tate and I started ours just before we bought Sundowner. We thought it would be neat to detail what it's going to take to get a boat that has already sailed around the world 3 times by the previous owners, ready for the 4th time, starting around Jan 1 2015.

It also has posts about us sailing, and learning to sail. The goal was really to have something to read later and remember our journey. Also when we leave it will be the primary way for friends and family to keep up with us.

A mix of photos and writing...

Sundowner sails again

I have clicked on many of blogs in the thread and can't wait to check them out!!

Re: How Many Have a Boat Blog or Website ?

I have a blog page, and have registered the domain name.

Last summer when I was on the boat for 6 weeks straight and had 3G access to the net 99% of the time, even when the islands were very distant, and yet I still managed to not write a single blog entry

Maybe this year....
