Re: Goodbye Tanquery...

If gin can make me look younger, why do I need tweezers to pick bits of ashphalt out of my face the morning after drinking it?

at 35 quid a bottle it is probably more economical used as a skin wipe than drinking it!

I'm sure I'd look better if I simply upped my Tanqueray intake.

I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of time before distillers have multivitamin alcohol.

Atoll.. you live in one of the most ingenious countries in the world for turning anything into alcohol.. Parsnips, Dandelions, Cucumbers, Canes and Fruits.. and that's before we get into Hops and Grains..
Get out and try some Country wines
I remember back in the 60's & 70's one could go down to the Off-Licence with a couple of empty bottles and take your pick from the barrels.. Parsnip, Mulberry, Dandelion, Burdock, Sweet Potato and others.. the Common Market killed that off along with a few other good things.
