tacoma...keep rooting for seagulls, as the san diego chargeless dont have the jolt to make a bolt. san diego always snatches defeat from the jaws of victory within the last half of every game.
they shoulda kept brees...rodlmao..
9-3 isnt a bad year, but........
good thing i am not a rabid fan...

Re: GO SEAHAWKS

One of the interesting things I learned during our cruise to Mexico:

How quickly one can lose interest in what used to seem really important.

When we left San Diego in early November, many years ago, I was a rabid Seahawk and Seattle Sonic fan. I was not sure I could live without watching basketball and football. I was able to listen on XM radio and by using my HAM receiver.

Within a month I had forgotten all about professional US sports and was way more interested in fishing and snorkeling.

Cruising does change your life and perspective.

When I returned to Puget Sound four years later I had little interest in watching professional sports. I reacquired my taste for the Seahawks over a few years of light watching but still have far less interest.

I'm semi retired as a Certified Bernina (sewing machine) Tech just North of Seattle (Whidbey Island).
It's amazing how many sewing machines are coming in for service with Navy and Chartreuse thread in them !

Re: GO SEAHAWKS

It is all so unfair!

I live in Puget Sound 1965 - 2013 and endure the miserable displays of Seahawk football for the entire time they are a sorta' team. I am a loyal fan and suffer thru every game. My friends and wife avoid me on Sunday evening and Monday morning.

I then move to San Diego at the beginning of the 2013 football season and look what happens.

It is almost enough to get me to sail 1200 miles NW to return to Puget Sound and Seahawk football.

Re: GO SEAHAWKS

We are not football fans but watched the game yesterday and I have to say....a game like that can turn you into a fan for life.

Totally amazing.

Don't fret... they are a pretty frustrating football team! Maybe you can miss the tension and grief!
The Defense is great, but the offense is either hot or cold... often cold and the games are won on a few plays.
After watching New England's balanced aggressive playing yesterday I fully expect the Hawks to get trounced this time....
