For those that may be bored

I was recently given a lantern that the PO thought belonged on a ship. I unfortunately can't find any information on it and I don't even know if it is a ships lantern or a train lantern. With all that I have searched it seems train lanterns usually have colored glass.

Any tips will be much appreciated

This photo kind of shows both sides with glass- it's the side on the right and the one in the back. The front side is where you open up to light the wick.
