Exuma hotels reservations

Hello, planning to spend a few weeks in Exuma going there by 23 ft power boat from Fort Lautherdale next June, July and wanted to know if hotel reservation is a must. Don't want to make any reservations visiting islands because of the weather or because I can change my mind where and whwen at that time do go next.

Thank You

IMO, that's an awful small boat for that trip. You may very well spend 2 months waiting for the perfect weather to make the various jumps from island to island.

My info is dated, but they seldom seemed that full years ago. Maybe call and ask how busy they are?

Pretty much off season in the Exumas, people scared of hurricanes.

We were in the Georgetown area last March and even then it wasn't that busy. There are also some reasonable house/cottage rentals you may want to consider. Have a safe and fun trip!

Re: Exuma hotels reservations

Probably the worst time to find a room in Georgetown is during regatta, which is the week which ends with the last full weekend in April.
Great fun though.

Re: Exuma hotels reservations

Keep in mind that cancellation policies in the islands can be 'way more restrictive than you find in U.S. chain hotels. Suggest you get cancellation insurance.
