Darned bird...

Sailing along quite happily the other day and this eagle decides that our wind instrument's transducer would make a great perch. Wondered why windspeed dropped from 20 to 0 knots then looked upwards. Took 10 minutes to shoo him off while he just looked down at us like we were stoopid or sumthin' lol. Fortunately the windvane survived

Almost the same thing happened to me last winter: it was a crow, not an eagle . The windvane survived, too.
