Christmas, New Year Florida

Hi all, we are traveling down the East Coast ICW and are looking for ideas and places for Xmas and New Year.

Looking for things folk do in and around boats at anchorages or harbors. Not so much street parties but maybe we should be more open.

Just leaving Jacksonville (Dec 3rd) so anywhere within a couple hundred miles. We are on a sail boat so travel slow.

Thanks and Happy Holidays.

Re: Christmas, New Year Florida

West Palm Beach is awesome this time of year! Especially by boat... They make fake snow every weekend to give that Christmas feel and people line the water front every New Year's Eve to watch the awesome fireworks display.. Tons of shops and restaurants... And I think it's on your way down the ICW.... If you pass it, you hit my neck of the woods.. Stuart Florida.. Quaint little hideaway town. Scaled down WPB but lots of shops, restaurants, art, and marinas!

Have an awesome trip and happy holidays!
