Hi,

Just curious what the best locations for stargazing and dark skies are in the abacos...

Little Harbour Bay gets my vote. Not much light pollution and quiet and protected and Pete's is nice and close. In full disclosure I have not been there in a number of years so don't know about any recent development.

Almost anywhere during one of the many power outages Other than that, anywhere you are away from a settlement. We have had some of our best viewing crossing the Little Bahama Bank at night with no moon.

You could have stargazed at treasure cay today. The new electric plant was down all night...

Great Sale in the middle of Little Bahama Bank is Amazing star-wise, but it's just outside of Abacos. Nice cause sheltered anchoring & no light pollution.

I should have mentioned great sale. Its on the way to the abacos if coming from south florida. Far from light pollution, good anchorage, great stargazing...
