Best Luxury Upgrades to Add to a 30 Foot Boat?

Big difference in what needs to be upgraded on what you plan on doing with it.

A 2000 watt one boils your water for a coffee in around a minute, the old style buffet burner hotplate takes about 6 minutes.

Disadvantages.... Requires a good quality sine wave power supply and magnetic pots.

I just read the west advisor article on watermakers. One of their reasons to get one was to save money in foreign ports where water can be $.25 a gallon. Then I saw watermakers were $4000

Toast on the induction range. Duxtop Model 8300 ST from amazon. Cannot explode your boat & seems good on fire safety. Very very fast system. It is almost microwave fast but actually browns.

Thanks for your suggestion - after much frustrated yacht refrigeration, I now have a 12 volt / 110 volt Dometic unit from West Marine. It is the size of a tailgate cooler. I only use it on 12 V. At 5 degrees F the ice cream is rock solid! I used a stand alone thermometer which shows me the temp varies with height in the Dometic so ice cream goes on the bottom. This unit will make ice.

I have an induction cooktop and am WILD about it. I got the NuWave and it has some features the slightly cheaper ones don't have to the point that I don't use the first one I got from Amazon any more. I keep it out in case I need two burners someday. If I could find a two-burner model I'd snap it up in a New York second.
