What is a "cruiser bar"? Where cruisers/boaters regularly hang? Those bars within easy walking distance for those arriving by boat? Open to the general public (most yacht clubs have bars)?

Tonga Bob's : Neiafu, Tonga
The Mermaid : Neiafu, Tonga
The Blue Pineapple : Cooks Bay, Moorea (BYOB is key!)
Willy T's : BVI's
Harbor Pub : Illikai Marina, Honolulu

Carlos & Charlies on Lake Travis gets honorable mention as a great boaters bar, but it's obviously not a cruiser's destination.

Complimentary Tapa's available in Bar Emporio, Almerimar, Spain and a lot of bars along the Adulasian coast... apart from the tourist trap bars which are generally crap..... go 3rd line for the good stuff
Galicia Nth Spain is also good... Viviero for example, a traditional bowl (about 1 1/2 glasses) of Vinho Verde 70centimos plus free tapa's....
