I've used Shadetree and think they are great. If your boat is non-standard or you think it is, give them a call. Some friends bought custom shadetree's and were talked through the whole measuring process on their cell phone
. It cost a couple hundred bucks more but I must say they were gorgeous. I had a set on my last boat and was extremely pleased. A set for this boat is on my "to do" list.
The first time might take 45 min to an hour to set up and adjust, after that they can be up in about 10 min. You will have to take into account things like dutchman sail flaking or lazy jacks that can't be retracted but the appropriate slits can be built into the custom models.
They not only provide shade but the connestoga wagon shape tends to funnel whatever breeze there is. I'm sorry if I sound like a commercial
but I really do like them.
