Nice! Interesting shots of a country I've never been too.

I meant: been to. Embarrassing grammatical error.

Passing Through - Culebrita, PR

I am still shooting the D700, been a solid camera for the last 3 years despite some serious abuse.

I really like the first pic with the rocks and the boat sailing off in the background. It looks like it should be on a wall somewhere. Thanks!

Very nice!

Perhaps I'm a pathetic compliment seeker, but seriously, no comment at all on my shots? I'm just an amateur too you know.

Onno, your shots of Tanzania have simply left us speechless!
They are breathtakingly beautiful and appear to be the work of a professional, not an amateur.

I have gone back several times to look at them.

Great images Jazzy! "Just" is not a word that should be paired with "amateur" to describe your work. You are obviously a competent photographer.

Re: Any Photographers with DSLR's Around ?

I've thought about getting an SLR camera for a long time. Looking at all these wonderful pictures makes me want to look into getting a DSLR someday. I would have to figure out all the different lenses but think it would be nice to get that type of camera.

Make a plan on what you would most like to take photo's of... like landscape or flowers or vacations etc. etc. That is the basis for selecting your lens

MY sister does alot of underwater photography with a DSLR. She has won a number of competitions with her work. Her work can be viewed at Chris Hamilton Underwater Photography
Most of her work is from Bryon Bay NSW Australia but some from OS as well.

Some beautiful photos on the website.
Good to see clownfish are still found. I found that within a year or two of "Finding Nemo" being released, the numbers in the Whitsundays dropped DRAMATICALLY.
