Re: Any Photographers with DSLR's Around ?

I made the DSLR switch to an Olympus OMD E-M5 micro 4/3 camera a couple years ago. I'm pretty impressed with the quality.

Re: Any Photographers with DSLR's Around ?

This is sailing related as I used my compressor and spray gun for her body paint, from my first formal model shoot this week. I also did her makeup, it is amazing what you can learn on the internet. Sorry guys, I had to crop the bottom for this venue.

Actually... a very nice high-key photo. What lighting did you use?

Re: Any Photographers with DSLR's Around ?

Vertical sandwich lighting on a white sweep. Alien Bees studio strobes with parabolic umbrellas to blow out the background and two speedlights with shoot-through umbrellas on either side of the model manual at 1/64th, she is about six feet from the background. There were also two 4x8 white foam insulation boards one on each side of the model.

One light, low key bodyscape same model (you could do this on your sailboat)

I don't think these are too bad for a fiberglass repair guy's first try.

Nice Hoppy! Is that the new MF camera?

On a side note, Shamrock V is for sale; asking price is 6M Euros.

Re: Any Photographers with DSLR's Around ?

Fixed the caved in hull and found a few leaks on this Hobie 20 last week. As a fringe benefit I now have access to the boat. New high tech sail produced 22K over the weekend. Sweet!

Re: Any Photographers with DSLR's Around ?

Shots from this morning with my Canon 100D & Ikelite housing. I went for a snorkel planning to go to the beach and then I found this old wreck. I would have been really pissed off if I had missed it and then someone later mentioned it

Such clear water

and my home
