Re: Any Photographers with DSLR's Around ?

I've got a Nikon D40. I like it because it is light weight... and replaceable in the event of "oops."

Re: Any Photographers with DSLR's Around ?

Hi Coops, I really admire Mrs. Coops' work and envy her talent - just like everyone else here I expect

Please could you ask her what those reddish-brownish things are though? Behind the blue bag in the photo with the skates?

Thanks!

Love it.

We lined the cabin with that. It's a stick on fablon type material that is supposed to look like a brick wall. It is quite realistic and you can fantasise that you are locked in a cell when you are down below.

Yes, one of our little valleys round here in Northern NSW. It's not what you think of Australia is it? All this and only really cold, not freezing, for about four-six weeks a year. Even then, between the hours of 10am and 4pm, you can usually get away with a t-shirt and shorts

Re: Any Photographers with DSLR's Around ?

Hi photogs!
Here's a few from a project that I started in Cuba. My preference is B&W, so I've been using Aperature with SilverEfexPro as a plugin. Seems to do a nice job.
My gear is all Nikon, body is a D3S (beast) and complimented with an assortment of decent lenses. I have the D3s as I frequently shot a lot of kids sports and it was the master of low light-high speed bodies. Maybe still is?

Only problem with this setup is that I'm always dragging around 25lbs of gear on my back. For this cuba trip, I was cycling in Cuba with the 25lbs of gear in bags on my bike. Along with gallons of water, it was slow going!

Hopefully the pig pic doesn't offend too many, I was the guest of honour for a beach-side roast.

Keep the photos coming!

Love the eggshells in colored light!

The other two are studies of water-one beautiful and gentle...the other destructive!

Where was the flooded shot taken?

Here are a few of 'Angus', our local ring-necked pheasant who likes our house because of the good groceries.
